Historic Bridgetown and its Garrison (Barbados), a well-preserved old town built in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries that includes a nearby military garrison consisting of numerous historic buildings. The popular St. Lawrence Gap is a 5 minute ride from Gentle Breeze. Don't forget to visit Oistin’s Friday Fish Fry - a “must do” in Barbados. On Worthing Main Road are many tempting local restaurants, sports bars, casinos (open 24/7) and bistros. Gentle Breeze Apartment faces Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary providing a beautiful and tranquil spot for a rest and cool drink. Garrison Savannah has been the home to the sport of kings in Barbados. The Barbados Turf Club annually organizes three seasons of racing which runs January to April, May to August and October to December.
Sheraton Mall has shops, department store, fresh air market and food court. Several casinos along Worthing Main Road are open 24/7. Of course Barbados has beautiful beaches: Worthing, Accra and Rockley are all nearby. The south side beaches have flawless sand and is protected by coral reefs. The surf in the south and south-east are ideal for a many popular of water sports like windsurfing, kite surfing and boogie boarding.
